Transmission CE 5455

Took the transmission off the parts truck and was expecting the worse, especially since after opening the drain NOTHING came out. I guess its actually a good thing because if it was full of water all the gears would have been toast.

Anyway, get the tranny off and other than some surface rust looks good. SNL-G-508 says the case should be marked CE-5455 and it was. The number was cast into the case on the drivers side. The shifter is toast, but I have a good one.

All in all not a bad day under the dumper.
I got a Mountain Cur and a ~~pitbull~~ big loveable cuddle puppy
