DIY (sort of) oil line/hose fittings

Its only a matter of time till you either rot or rust through an oil line.

You can but a set from Frank Von R. in Canada for $70+ But if you are up to the (small) challenge you can make your own for cheap.

Here are the oil hoses:

The one in the middle is the oil return line from the filer to the fuel pump bolt.

So, what makes up that little bugger? Simple.

2x stand pipe crimp fittings
2x double compression nuts
Chunk of hose

The oil line should never see more than 60-80PSI.. so its a low pressure system. Your local hydraulic hose store *may* have the fittings, so ask for them by name.

I plan an making a few.. no way I spend $70 for $12 in parts.
