Before you post, YES, I KNOW that valve clearance was increased on CCKWs to .016.

If you have a copy of the decal saying such, please e-mail or post a picture.

The valve clearances were adjusted to

INTAKE: .012
EXHAUST: .016

Previously to December7th, 1943 both were to be set to .012. This is from GM Tech Bulletin G-86.

No information regarding the valve cover decal was altered... I would assume that they added a line to ensure the proper valve clearances were made. But so far nothing conclusive has been found.
