Anyone need CCKW filters for engine compt?

Postby pfarber » Wed Oct 01, 2008 6:09 pm

I have gotten a hold of the 4 engine compartment filters for the CCKW.

I am looking at getting them made up, but with modern filter parts inside.

Anyone else interested?

They are talking about the radio suppression filters used for a brief period of time.

Not air filters.

They are not needed, and unless your truck came with them ground straps are enough (well, the later RF grounding kit is what you need).

I have a complete set of filters because my truck came with them. They are a PITA to deal with... more things to have to keep good grounds on.
