I found this, its all of $85 delivered.

TM says Ben Hur lunette is 26 inches off the ground.. that's mighty high for a truck/SUV. My Durango was approx 20 inches. I know there are pintals you can buy and then get an adapter mount to raise/lower it... but both items are bout $150 total.

Will pull my new ben hur and see how it goes... pics next week.
I got a Mountain Cur and a ~~pitbull~~ big loveable cuddle puppy

Got a wooden ben hur from Atlanta to PA... used the pintal hitch and the attitude of the trailer was definitely nose down.

Trailer was approx 1200# and towed straight. Used a set of $20 trailer lights bolted to the rear. Not a bad deal for a pintal hitch... but would never consider using it with a loaded ben hur.. 1/4ton, ok.

Best to get trailer level, it makes for safe stopping. Price of safety should not be concern.
