"GMC boxes also have 4 dimpled holes on the bottom in addition to 4 holes on backside. That's what about them.
Reread your explanation about GMC vs Dodge, it is confusing."

Well, Bendy Me Over, there were TWO spare parts boxes for the GMC CCKW GM-2186734 and the later GM-3677644 IN ADDITION to the FIRST box FSN 21-T-613. Remember the spare parts box was initially ONLY for units in or deploying to the ETO/PTO. The first mention I have of it is in the May 1 1943 TM10-1563.

For trucks being supplied a kit before embarkation or while deployed, it included suggestions on where to mount the kit. The 1619 cab's location was under the assistant drivers seat. But a hint from the June 1943 Army Motors article says:

So, without the TB showing the mounting locations, how does Bendy Me Over come to the conclusion that 'proper' GMC box is the one WITH holes on the rear face? The 1575 cab was in limited production by 1943 and it makes more sense to have a 'universal' spare parts box with 8 predrilled holes, rather than just the 4 on the bottom for bottom only installation since Army Motors already said that the PREFERRED location is under the dash!

Wait, He's owned 30 of them.... even though none of them are marked in any useable way, HE can tell them apart!

Wait for it.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
