HF Hardy gloves... saving fingers one at a time

I tried to wear mechanics gloves before. A nice pair of Craftsman mechanics gloves I got from Christmas. I really didn't like them. I think its because I never took to the time to properly fit a glove. I have a longer ring finger than index finger (not sure what the medical term is, other than 'more awesome than most') and most gloves are not cut that way... so you really have to look for well fitting gloves.

The $5 ($2 on sale!) Hardy Mechanic's Gloves for some stupid reason just fit well. Probably more to do with crappy QC than design. But last week I had to change the starter in my F150 and I knew it was gonna be tough on my baby soft digits since it was below 0 all week and my garage is unheated. So dry skin, cold metal and petroleum by-products would be more of a problem than the 3 starter mounting bolts I had to remove.

Like I said the gloves fit will, grip was excellent and other than not being able to pick up flat washers off the floor I had no problems. Not sure how long these will last is its really not much more than a thick coat of poly over a stretch nylon material but dammit they fit well.
I got a Mountain Cur and a ~~pitbull~~ big loveable cuddle puppy
