The udder side of the front axle
Posted: Mon Jan 02, 2017 6:39 pmIt was mid 40s today.. so more garage time. Went quick, only issue is the upper kingpin bearing is SHOT. I think they mashed the preload or something.

This side had a lot more oil
Glorious CV joint. As long as this is good I'm happy.
Here's the kingpin bearing. That inner bevel is all kinds of scratched up.
So at least one bearing will be replaced. The wheel bearing looked OK.. but I didn't get to clean them thoroughly.
