Inner door skin

Postby pfarber » Thu Sep 26, 2013 10:35 pm

Took the inner door skins off to sandblast. The military door is a simplification of the civvy door. The biggest difference is the window waistline wiper. In civvy doors its rubber and screwed in. On the G506 its a felt strip that fits into a folded groove.

This is a rubber kit that would apply to civvy and *probably* early model G506s (no vehicle was safe from the great rubber purge of mid 42).

The wiper seals would go on the inner/out door and acted as both a water barrier and a wind break. This was all redone in felt for the G506.
