My jeep is a C-. I am not really happy with it, but she drives and stops so this will be her first baptism of hard use.
In the past month I installed a new intermediate shaft (I miss working under the CCKW... lots of room).
Fixed second gear.
Rebuilt the fuel pump (man did that make a difference).
Unplugged the oil lines (I was going to change the oil filter and there was none. WOW.) So I had to unplug the lines, clean the oil filter and make a plug for the drain.
I wanted to paint it.. but other than the hood its been to cold.
The back seat is still not in (the bottom pan support tube was cut and I need to weld on about 2 inches per side).
Last thing I do before I head down is get the tool box locks on. God damn repro wheel wells don't line up the hole with the lock mount. POS. The original wheel wells are still here, and I plan on getting them back on after repairing them this summer.
So if anyone sees a jeep with no back seat.. stop over and say hi!
