Good 'GUESS', but better joke!!
To make matters worse:
"M-38 Crankshaft lacks the Oil Port (hole) for the front sprocket and will not lubricate the chain correctly"
I seem to remember that there is an oil return line DIRECTLY on top of the timing chain... I ain't no jeep x-pert for 600+ years, but all the picture books seem to think so, too.
