Amazone Vine reviews are complete jokes

Seems like the world is finally learning what I have known for years, the Amazon VINE program (reviews from people that get free random products yet are allowed to post reviews about it) has been outed as the fraud that it is:

They get the items for free but may not have any idea/use/need for them and simply make a positive post to ensure their place in the program to get free stuff.

Online item reviews are often good sources of information... but merchants have to ensure consumers that the reviews are valid... Amazon has been caught doing the exact opposite.. pushing reviews to fill up space.
