Rant - Youtube videos and music

I was looking for some CCKW videos... just to pass the time. Some were watch able.. most were horrendous piles of steaming unwatchable shit. Why? The music. I am not alone in my detest for the outright craptastic background garbage that people put in otherwise good videos. So just stop. Really. Why take the time to record, then edit in sound that makes an otherwise good video little more than ear rape? You may think it 'kewl' or funny or patriotic or 'adds ambiance' but you are wrong. Your friends won't tell you this, because they either want to ride in your truck or you owe them money and they want to get it back... but even THEY think your video has cats in a blender for music and it would be 1000 times better if you just muted the entire thing.
So just stop the shitty music. You are not smart enough to pick music with the right tempo or melody to add what needs to be added that makes a good video great. There are people out there that are... but you are not one of them. So just stop the shitty music.
Whats worse.. is that there are some videos that are showing off a truck driving down the road yet instead of hearing a 270 hum, the transfer case whine or the NDTs on asphalt (all things that make a CCKW the great truck that it is) you hear some shitty 40's English pub song about whatever the fuck English pub songs are about. Or something even more idiotic (yes, it can get worse) like the theme to the A-Team or Kelly's Hero's (which was a crappy movie, BTW). Yes, wind noise is preferable to any of that.
So just stop it. Really.
