Well Black Friday can buggar off.... stuff is cheaper NOW than on the 'biggest' sales day of the year.
My HP7110 died (will, I killed it, really) and on my way back from Philly I was going to stop off at Staples and recycle it... so I drop it off and decide to look if they have the 7610 I wanted to buy on Black Friday for $179.99. Well they had it.. FOR $149.99!!! Reg $229.99.
So I figure WTF its 30% off and although I am not really going to do much screen printing over the winter its a good deal at this price.
So I pick it up. First, ITS HUGE. Second, the duplex ADF and printing IS FRACKING AWESOME!!!! It flawlessly scanned 10 pages of a new credit card agreement and made a perfect pdf doc of it. Its not the fastest ADF scanner... but compared to the HP I have it scans the pages STRAIGHT and did not jam or mis-pick.
So yeah.. HP can lick my balls. I'll NEVER buy another HP AIO or inkjet.
Now I just have to find a home for the Brother laser printer I have. I already ordered ink for the Epson and I think it will be my main printer from now on... mainly because I don't have the room for a laser on my desk anymore.
One thing that does suck.. the integrated web server pages are straight out of 1995. They get the job done, but look like hell.
