A German movie called 'Downfall'

It chronicles the final weeks/days of Hitler while he was in his Berlin Bunker. It was based in part on Hitlers own secretaries book.

She briefly narrates at the beginning and the end of the movie.

The actors are superb.. you can see how nuts they are and that they truly believed in the Third Reich and National Socialism. Them fools were pure nuts.

Its not a war movie, but it is a great flick. Its in German with English subtitles. It was nominated for some sort of Award and won like 12 out of the 14 it was nominated for.
