No Sweetwater, I don't want to throw away $35

Ok... I drop a pretty penny on a new guitar. Yeah.. I know... buy used.. but with the discounts sometimes buying new is the better answer.

So I pick my new sweet axe, and then Sweetwater asks me 'do you want to throw away $35?' I could get it FOR FREE on 9/13, or pay $35 to get it on 9/13. Man.. life is hard sometimes.

Really? I want to know how many people are paying the $35... why even ASK?

I'd rather have gone to my local GC as I have an pretty good condition SG to trade in. But GC only give 15% off when you trade in plus I have to pay tax. I'm still going to sell the SG to GC, but I just saved ore money from Sweetwater. GC will NOT lower the price to 'exclude' the tax.

So it was never going to cost $35 to ship in two days?
Man I hate when they fuck you over shipping prices.

Well, 10 scumbag points to Sweetwater for shipping cost fuckery.

So I get my invoice and it shows the charges, and then I go to the web site just to look at my perty new toy. Then I read "more on the way". Wait, wut? Did I just get charged for a back ordered guitar? I got a paid for receipt, no word of back order status, and the order processing says that its 'in process'. Da fuq?

So I call Sweetwater and ask for "My personal sales engineer". Busy, go to the sales queue. Jason picks up. Seems that there was an 'issue' and that I didn't agree to something. I said I got an invoice, and a receipt that's paid for. "Sometimes the systems don't update properly". What the fuck? Why was I not called or emailed? So we get that straightened out and I ask about back order status and he says I got the last one. Cool.

Now this issue sounded like its common.. so why the fuck don't the fix it?? I mean 99% of their business is online you'd think they'd have that shit down to a science... not this 'sometimes it doesn't go through'. Hey, how about 'sometimes I don't pay you?'.

Not sure what pisses me off the most... bullshit excuses or a company simply not fixing their shit so I don't have to babysit the process of ME giving THEM my MONEY. To be fair, GCs inventory and billing system is a COMPLETE SHIT SHOW.
