This is where the only issue arose... a good nick in one of the kingpin cap bolts.
Took a file and filed it down so the shims would come off.

Disconnect the tie rod. The pin was tight and it doesn't seem that there was any grease in there... so a good cleaning of the grease grove is in order when its reassembled.

All in all took about an hour to tear down going slow and mostly playing with the dogs than working. Still need to take the bearing out and check them.. if they are good they are going back in. Inner seals will stay, knuckle felt will be replaced.. but all in all everything (except the one stud) is in good shape so far.
