How to disassemble a CCKW composite bed

Like many CCKW owners I have a cargo bed in need of restoration.

I recently learned that the bed can be broken down into easy to manage parts.

Heres how I did it:

Heres where I started.  There is also a bolt up under the channel.  Don't forget it.  I used my MAPP torch to loosen the rusted bolts.  A 9/16ths deep socket and wrench were used.

Cargo bed, composite, late war.  Needs a good cleaning, new wood and some minor stake pocket work.. also replace all fasteners.
