299th Engineer Btn CCKW.

These two photos are interesting for several reasons:

The truck is named RUTH (someones sweetheart?)
The registration has been redone... note the very odd W stencil
The very thick blanket on the drivers seat!
The national symbol is partially covered by the the canvas door stored on the running board.
Also note that the same truck is in two pics at the same location.. some GI had some spare film to waste!

Whoops, meant two trucks at same location. The rubble in the background is the same.. the trucks are different (via Reg number on hood).

That said, the 'W' is in the same weird stencil.
