DUKW manuals

TM's, FM's ORDs, SNLs or FSMWO's pertaining to the GMC 2 1/2 ton truck.

DUKW manuals

Postby sinclair » Fri May 18, 2012 6:37 am

Just this week I ran across a .pdf of called DUKW Operations and Use dated 1944.
I came across several 1940's published Field Manuals (FM) dealing with Operations of 2 1/2 & 5 ton trucks.
Another series of books on history of WW II logistics has lots of photos that I have to export to a file.

If you have a link please post! The TM9-1802A is the most relevant to us.. as it is basically what the older TM10's would have.

I still prefer the TM10's.

The one I mentioned here is a type of Operators manual. I had not seen before.

Are there any TB's? I have seen referances to them.

I think that's a post war book.

Kinda like this one.. If I read it right, its a 1948 historical review.

The manual is wartime. Just inside the front cover is a spot for instructors who have read it to sign and date. it is signed on 12 Dec (presumably of '44), and a15 Jan, '45. The next page is a short descriptioj of intended use, dated 15 Oct, 1944.
