Conversion. Automobile plant. A seventeen-ton 6D Bliss press is lowered by overhead crane to the location at which it will produce door trim panels for 4 x 4 and 6 x 6 Army trucks. The press was taken from another of the plant buildings that is being entirely cleared for conversion to other war production. Chevrolet Motors, Detroit, Michigan
