This is it.. the last of the rust bucket. Actually, the amount *should* not includes this, but since I wasn't going to make three separate trips to keep things completely separate the last load (the 1400#) includes most of the front frame section from a CCKW. It did included the last bit of hoist subframe and hoist pump/cylinder... I would say that its about 50/50 CCKW / G506.
This is what I got for a GMC270 block. It was in the EXACT same condition as the 235 (complete motor with bellhousing/flywheel clutch LESS starter/alternator.

The 270 weighed LESS that the 235 by about 60 lbs. Go figure. There was nothing in the load other than the engines. Lifting the 270 block in the bed of the pickup truck SUCKED. I suggest you get help... I am manly enough to lift it.. but I think that most others would not be able to. I did take the head off, that helped... but I think a few vertebrae shot out of my back and landed in the neighbors yard.
Here's the final receipt... 1400lbs.

By my tally I am 'up' close to $400. But take away the $150 of CCKW steel and I net less than $300.
This does NOT include the frame of axles. I will be scrapping a frame later on (its been welded on and had the ass end cut off) and will add that in when I get to it. The axles are going to be the really interesting part. The banjo castings are heavy but I doubt that they are more than $200 each in scrap. Plus try and find a place to take the tires... even the dump says 7.50x20's are not accepted.
