Brakes and vac

Post by pfarber »

Got the new brake line set from VoV. The old lines were hand bent, and the stone guards were rusted.. for $235 that's not a bad deal.

The ball of paper was the master cylinder rebuild kit.

Here's the old SERIES II vac next to a new SERIES III vac. Other than a simplified control valve they appear to be identical (size wise). Some of the hookup locations are different... nothing insurmountable.

The place I got the vac from included a rough hookup diagram and an exploded view for parts ID. May have to fab up a bracket or two.. no biggie. Lots of 1/8th in steel laying about.
I got a Mountain Cur and a ~~pitbull~~ big loveable cuddle puppy and a Brown Husky aka 'Golden Dragon'
