They did something like this at an AMA show a few years back with Gorrilaz and Modonna.

Evidently this is a common thing in Japan. I don't like the music.. but the show (animated singer) is pretty dope, yo!

Look at all them bastards! Glow sticks in hand jamming to what I can only assume is some sort of k-pop (I have not idea who these characters are or what they are singing about.. but it all seems very 'pop'-oriented).

Oh uh.. shit just got wierd.

The name of the 'singer' is Hatsune Miku and she is some sort of robot.. I don't know. But I'm going to guess that a large percentage of the audience owns one (or more) of these:

Just thank God there are no 50 year old Madonna pillows.... I hope *shudder*
