Just some photos of my second dolly:

The only critical dimension is that you get between the torsion bar mount and the brake backing plate

These would be the same on the split and banjo axles.. so its really the only 'static' point... everything else moves around.
I got a Mountain Cur and a ~~pitbull~~ big loveable cuddle puppy and a Brown Husky aka 'Golden Dragon'
