WTK/WTB-What type of bed was on Chevy Gunnery Trainer trucks

Been thinking about building a gunnery trainer truck - kind with turret mounted on a superstructure on the bed.....was that a flat bed it was on, dump bed?, or ??? Have pictures but cannot tell what type bed it might have been.

Also, looking for a reasonbly priced candidate for the truck. Needs to be original - no repowered need apply!
