The repro GMC engine paints are no longer representative of CCKW era, TM9 ORDNANCE PRODUCTS Synthetic Semi Gloss Olive Drab Munitions Can Paint is Spot On.

Do you have a specific name for the color? I heard 'wet olive' before.
CCKW wartime pics are fairly inconclusive as to proper engine color. It is definately a lighter color than OD 3 or OD 7, but what ammo cans were painted the same color as GMC 270 engines?
