[EDIT] This is my own stupidity.. zinc are correct (as I've stated many times). - I'll leave this here to remind myself to not be stupid in the future. pdf

Well this is interesting... as well as confirming my long held belief: that zinc data plates are never wartime period correct.

Note the rebuild plate in the upper left:

Oh well, not like its the first mistake I ever made.

I was surprised to find a rebuilt plate...

I'll leave this here as a testament to my own stupidity. I've been very clear in the past that brass is not correct.

JEEP plates are brass, CCKW plates are zinc. :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:
