Repro rations... anyone

Post by pfarber »

I've seen a lot of reproduction rations.. mainly because I have been looking for them.

One seems to come up a lot on e-bay/google and that is:

http://www.wartime-rations.moonfruit.co ... 4514207340

Anyone use this company? It seems that the meat tin is WAY to big for the box... if anyone has used them could they verify this?

Is there a good repro ration for less than $6 a meal? Most are what I call 70% accurate (most fail on the matches, the tin, the inner meat sleeve and inner box).

I'll be at the GAP in a few weeks and usually someone is selling rations. Last time they would only sell the entire crate, not individual meals.
I got a Mountain Cur and a ~~pitbull~~ big loveable cuddle puppy and a Brown Husky aka 'Golden Dragon'

Do you realize how difficult it is to find 65 year old ingredients to package?
