Epic HF Tool Cart. Get one.

Post by pfarber »

Bought one of the $189 ($169 on sale.. eternally it seems) 5 drawer tool cart.

All the reviews are right. Its a great freaking buy. I plan to make this one my 'metric' cart and my original Craftsman (damn near 15 years old and still in great shape) as my 'standard' one. Since my F150 is mostly metric and the WWII stuff is mostly standard it should help keep things more organized... I waste SO MUCH TIME looking for tools.

I even got the side attachment that folds down. There is an updated version (the image shows the old one) that corrects some of the MINOR issues it had. The biggest being the lid not opening 90deg (the new one does).

Best $200 (for everything) I've spent in a while. I've seen coupons that put this as low as $159 from magazines (Family Handyman had one for $159 last year) but I think the new carts won't go that low.
