Got the house set up with a Shinobi DVR system and some cameras. Neighborhood went to shit in the last year.. lots of people moved and now most of the folks seem to be renters.

The Shinobi system is kinda freemium. Its based on OSS so you get the code, but how many people know how to program video streams etc.

Next time I'd just get an all in one vendor system but I had a laptop laying around to use as the server so I did save about $200.
