Introducing myself

Post by Ledog »

Hi all.

I'm new to this brand new forum (of course).

I'm the webmaster of the french GMC forum.

I'm living in Switzerland and, you've guessed it, I speaks french.

I do own a 1942 CCKW 353 with closed cab and a 1943, Dodge WC 63 (6x6). I also have two trailers, a 1/4 ton Bantam Jeep trailer and a 1 ton Ben-Hur trailer with steel body.

I wish to this forum all the success I had with mine.

The tipper I just got was ex-French army. Still has the French data plates on the dash.

That tipper seen a lot of the world! Sadly, its gonna be parted out then scrapped.

Did the French Army mount some sort of decontaminator on the outside of the cab, just forward of the half door on the drivers side?

Is there a hole in the side of the cowl, about 3-1/2 - 4" dia.??
What makes you question a decontaminator??
