Was rereading the Sunderlin articles.... This is a pretty big claim:

Ok, what was the Bulletin number? What was the frame number? What was the part and how was it cited?

Was this steering assembly purpose built for the CCKW? IIRC the TM notes a 'beefed up' steering gear later on (43? 44?)

From the later TMs they SB's pertaining to CCKWs RARELY cited a civilian truck model (although I do recall seeing references to AC 300-400 series models.... I'd have to look them up to get the exact model).
